The Shiva Hypothesis, introduced in 1979 by scientists William Napier and Victor Clube, formalized the concept of periodic destruction impacting Earth. A scientific hypothesis showcased at the Smithsonian Institution revealed a significant climate change happening every 60-100 million years.
The amount of Greenhouse gas emissions and level of carbon dioxide present today, was last seen some 4.5 million years back. What nature typically unfolds over millions of years has transpired in merely 175 years. These days, alongside Shiva, we also benefit from the advancements of science and supercomputer-generated climate models. These models forecast potential future outcomes based on our current greenhouse gas emissions trajectory.
