Takuya Kasai

Takuya (TAK) Kasai is the Managing Partner, Head of APAC with Enel X Advisory Services APAC. He is responsible for leading Enel X’s energy consultants across Asia Pacific region, engaging with the commercial and industrial businesses (“C&I”) in APAC around sustainability with a specific focus on decarbonization in line with their organizational target (Scope 1, 2 and 3) on a global scale and PPA advisory services to suite a variety of global clients ’needs. It covers from strategy to execution for VPPA, On-Site PV and Off-Site PV+BESS etc. With over 20 years of his combined clean, renewable energy and C&I expertise, he ensures the C&I businesses to minimize their cost of energy and achieve their own targets towards decarbonization. Before joining Enel X, Tak was Senior Director/ Head of Investment APAC at a leading infrastructure investment fund manager where he was primarily responsible for leading its local investment professionals across APAC. He primarily focused on analyzing, identifying, managing all potential pipelines in renewable energy space both greenfield and brownfield, and maximizing the overall performance of the infrastructure funds. He also served as a board member. Tak was also the General Manager at a major power investment company where he was responsible for middle- and back-office of clean energy, renewables and DER, then expanded the scope beyond to development of North American markets. In his early 30’s, he held various executive roles as C-Suites and Sales Director at the North American operation of a Tier 1 manufacturer with global supply chain capabilities, held responsible for growing the North American operation in both automobile and consumer electronics sectors through organic and acquisition. He also served as a board member.
